Weather Conditions
The temperature is usually 15-20 degrees Celsius providing excellent conditions for runners and walkers.  There is generally a prevailing south westerly which is a head wind for the first 17 kilometres to Glenelg.  The next 8 kilometres will then often be a tail wind up to the turn around point and then a head wind for 3-4 kilometres on the return to the River Torrens outlet.  The Linear Park section of 11 kilometres is generally well shaded and sheltered from the wind.
