With the spring weather, the beaches are beckoning.
This is a relatively flat and fast course and a choice of 10km or 5km distances. There will be live music, bbq, lawns, random prizes and the opportunity to try the new The Clubhouse bistro on the beachfront.

One of the great successes of SARRC over the last few years has been the evolution of trail running within the club, resulting in some of the more popular events on our annual calendar. Some of you will already have heard the news that the trail running group have chosen to start their own trail running club independent of SARRC. This decision follows significant negotiation from both parties with the result that the Trail Running Committee has chosen full autonomy. We will, of course, continue our good relations with the trail runners and are committed to supporting each other's events, members and volunteer base. The new board, in consultation with the trail running group, will address any issues regarding trail independence as they arise.
Let's keep running and having fun together out there!
Other club news is that Chris Taylor has resigned as Club Coach. We thank him for the significant effort he contributed to the club and wish him well in his new endeavours. The club will continue on as usual, offering marathon training plus other programs. We will commence the recruitment process and appoint another Club Coach as soon as practical.

Start Running courses are held throughout the year at a number of locations all across Adelaide.
The course is aimed at new runners or people who want to be runners.
Over our 10 week program, the goal is that you will be able to run for at least 30 minutes and hopefully up to 10km.
