Make-A-Wish Fun Run/Walk

The 2012 Make-A-Wish® Fun Run/Walk is to be held on Sunday 25th March, starting at the Wallaroo Town Hall and finishing at Victoria Square in Kadina.
This will be the 7th Annual Make-A-Wish Fun Run/Walk hosted by the Yorke Peninsula Branch of Make-A-Wish. The event has become very popular on the local calendar and continues to grow from year to year.
The route covers a distance of 9.2kms with categories for all ages and fitness levels, from competitive athletes to social walkers.
Registration is from 7:30am on the day, with the race commencing at 9am.
Entry fees will be $15 for adults, $5 for children aged between 5 and 15, and a gold coin donation for children under 5. All participants across the line will receive a “Healthy Choice Show Bag”.
Make-A-Wish® Australia grants wishes to children and young people with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY FOR ALL SARRC EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
By participating in any SARRC event or activity, you acknowledge and agree that your participation is at your own risk which means that SA Road Runners and Road Walkers Club (SARRC) and its officers, representatives and agents (and all persons directly or indirectly involved in promoting or conducting the event) are not liable for:
- Your injury or death, or any damage or loss suffered by you or others related to your participation; and
- Any consequential or indirect damages or any other form or relief whatsoever for any acts or omissions of SARRC and /or its officers, representatives or other persons involved directly or indirectly in promoting or conducting the event or activity, arising out of in connection with the event or activity even if the acts or omissions were foreseeable, whether such damage or loss occurred as a result of negligence or otherwise, except where these terms or any part of them would contravene any statute.

Donations to the event nominated Charity
Our nominated event charity receives 100% of the donations collected, less any third party charges for processing online entries or credit card payments.
Lost Property
Any lost property handed to SARRC after an event will be retained by the SARRC office for one month. Items will be listed on this website for one month and collection (upon presentation of suitable identification) can be made at the SARRC office. If the items have not been claimed after this time, they will be donated to charity.
