10.3km Time Trial Report

Sunday 4th September saw 23 eager participants enjoy the annual 10.3km time trial. Even the fine drizzle didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the participants. The course was altered slightly due to road works. John Twartz, the Race Director said this didn't affect the distance of the run.

Julian Whiting won the time trial for the second year running. His secret is to run fast as there is no variation compared to trying to guess a race pace.

Many participants use the time trial as a lead up to the City to Bay.

All the participants had a great time and look forward to next year’s time trial.
