Kuitpo to Mylor Heysen Trail Run/Walk 10 Dec 2011

Saturday 10 December, 2011. Kuitpo to Mylor Heysen Trail Run/Walk. 7.30 am start (7.15 briefing).

This is our last regular trail run on the 2011 monthly calendar, offering you the chance to complete a section of the Heysen Trail that we have not previously covered. Starting at Rocky Creek Hut, Kuitpo (the finish of the Heysen 105) we will head northwards to Mylor (17 kms). Suggest meeting at Mylor Oval at 7.00am to car pool to the start for 17km runners/walkers. For those people only wanting to do 12 kms suggest make own arrangements to car pool from 12km finish on corner of Glen Bold Rd and Diggings Rd.

Mylor is very easy to get to. Take the SE Freeway to Stirling and follow the signs. Only about 15 minutes from Glen Osmond! See the attached notes and map for more details at http://www.sarrc.asn.au/images/Trail/Kuitpo_to_Mylor.pdf

I still haven't been able to get a garmin file together butt understand they can be accessed at Friends of Heysen website at http://www.heysentrail.asn.au/

Lynn Smythe has booked a table for us at the recently opened coffee shop in Mylor - so make sure you stay back to meet other runners and walkers.

Please note - Forestry SA has a new policy and we are required to pay $2 per runner. Bring your coins to throw in the bucket before the run.
