We are looking for interested persons keen to co-ordinate a Running Group (including Start Running) in the South (around the Morphett Vale, Christies Beach, Noarlunga areas) and in the North (Salisbury). ADELAIDE MARATHON 15 August 2010 -
NEW COURSE NEEDED
It is expected that Santos Stadium will not be available in 2010 as the running track is scheduled to be replaced. An alternative course will be needed by February 2010 when the entry form will be published.
The recently formed marathon race committee is seeking suggestions and ideas for the new course or parts that should be included and needs these soon. When making suggestions please consider the facilities available and if all events can be conducted from the same start/finish point or if multiple points are needed.
Early suggestions include Adelaide Oval, AAMI stadium, beach side venue (eg Henley High School - used for 2009 half marathon start), south of Adelaide (eg using the bikeway alongside the Southern Expressway), north of Adelaide (eg Barossa), former Olympic Sports Field at Kensington utilising surrounding roads and ovals, beach front course Northhaven-Brighton or a River Torrens course.

**Don't delay as there is a cap of 250 entrants.
