26km, 19km and 12km options

An official SA History Week event - for both men and women!

Commencing from The Hahndorf Academy in Main St Hahndorf at 8.30am on Sunday 30th May, 2010, the route follows the main road out of Hahndorf crossing the Onkaparinga River before joining the official trail at Verdun. From there the trail passes through the townships of Bridgewater, Stirling and Crafers, before entering Cleland Conservation Park and down through Burnside to historic Beaumont House.

Participants have the option of starting at Hahndorf (8.30 am start - 26kms), Bridgewater (9.15 am start - 19kms), or Stirling (9.45 am start - 12kms). Buses will leave from Beaumont House an hour before each starting time to take participants to their starting location.

Whilst much of the route is on well managed trails, part of the course is also along roads. Due to the distance of the course it is not possible for the trail to be fully marshalled. Participants will be responsible for taking care at all times to obey road rules and to follow the instructions of marshalls to ensure that everyone arrives safely in Beaumont House.
